Will a big pH change cause shock? Posted: 01 Aug 2020 09:34 AM PDT Hey my axo loving buds!! Gotta question ... My new 55 gallon tank is fully cycled. Finally reached 0 on ammonia nitrite and nitrates. Only thing is, the pH is at about a 7.9. The current water my axolotls are in has a pH of about 6.2 (I know, super low but that's my tap water for daily tub changes). Will the drastic difference in pH shock them if I transfer them? I put some almond leaves in day before yesterday, might wait a couple days to see what happens. Maybe I should start performing water changes every other day w the lower pH water? Thanks for any tips !! [link] [comments] | ||
