Mini ramshorns— do you guys feel that they’re friend or foe? I think they’re beautiful little things, iridescent gold and pink. I have a lot but I can’t bring myself to cull some!

I know not everyone likes "pest snails" but I'm a bit delighted to see these two in my plant shipment. So tiny!

I love watching her mouth work! She tried so hard to get this shrimp food, but it fell after all.

Noticed this white stuff hanging off my mystery snail and around the brim of the tank. I think it’s stress slime? I have two snails and the other one isn’t producing this stuff. Any help would be great!

Assassin Snail Behaviour?

Posted: 20 Aug 2020 05:30 PM PDT

I just got two assassin snails yesterday and I'm loving them, they're so cute. The smaller one has been very lively, 'racing' around the tank with its siphon out, I've seen it eat at least 7 snails so far. The other bigger snail however has been pretty lazy? I haven't seen it fully leave it's shell yet, I've seen both antenna but not it's full siphon, it's moved around the tank but that's about it, also I haven't seen it eat anything yet?

Is this normal? I'm just concerned because they are both acting so different.

Wtf? I only have one mystery snail and it just laid eggs. I’ve had it for 4 months now, so it wasn’t a male from the pet store.

Question

Posted: 20 Aug 2020 01:31 PM PDT

I'm currently looking into getting a rabbit snail for my tank, but I already have apple snails. I wanted to make sure before I make a purchase that they can be housed together in the same tank? It's definitely big enough, I just want to make sure it wont be harmful for any of them.
