I woke up this morning and Juice was dead Posted: 26 Jul 2020 09:02 PM PDT I have no idea what happened. She was fine last night. This morning i woke up and she was dead in the corner. I had just moved her and Goose to a new tank a few days ago, used established filters from the tank they came from, did a water change last night (because if I'm doing one i might as well do them all). It was 2 fancies in a 55g. Water parameters are fine. Goose seems to be fine, but wondering what happened to his girlfriend. There was nothing she could have gotten stuck on, no signs of distress, no injuries or bloating. Just gone. Juice was the one who was my impulse buy at the beginning of the year. She trippled in size. She was a big beautiful girl. :( [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jul 2020 07:11 PM PDT So in a couple days I am getting a bigger tank for my five comet goldfish. They are only about an inch right now and I am getting a 150-200 gallon tank for them for now. I am thinking of getting them another goldfish friend. I was thinking a black moor or maybe a ranchu? Something small, I don't want them too big because I know my comets will grow. Is it bad to put comets with other goldfish, will the tank be too small for them all until I can get on building a pond or getting a bigger tank? Please help me here. [link] [comments]
Having fish without much money? Posted: 26 Jul 2020 05:27 AM PDT Hey guys, first off, I am absolutely new to fish, but I would love to have goldfish one day. I do have a fishtank which is not sealed and was given to me for free when I saved some mice from a snake owner. However, the point is, the tank came with equipment (although I have no idea which part is what lol) and I was told that it is still working. Anyways, the tank is 60l, so I believe it is too small for goldfish anyways, right? So, how do I get a bigger tank or something similar without much money? I would love to spend more, but my financial situation isn't that great right now. I can still upgrade in the future. In the meantime I will read online about the subject in order to get some knowledge. Thanks in advance, guys! [link] [comments]
How do you do your water changes? Posted: 26 Jul 2020 02:03 PM PDT Hey everyone, I'm in the middle of removing 50% of my tanks water with the python hose. Do you normally dose the entire volume of the tank with water conditioner then add the new water directly into the tank from the tap with the hose? I've been filling buckets and letting water sit overnight but now that I have a 125G tank I don't have enough buckets to do that. [link] [comments]

I got a goldfish with social anxiety Posted: 26 Jul 2020 06:10 AM PDT So I've got 17 gold fish mostly small, one big and a few medium sized ones. Anyways one of my medium sized ones who I got a week ago stays in this one spot of the tank between two pot plants and only comes out for food. Why is this? She seems to be healthy and my water has tested perfect. Could it seriously be that it's shy. Not sure what sort of concept they have of life but it's just so strange 😂 [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jul 2020 06:25 AM PDT Do yuan bao oranda breed true( yuan bao X yuan bao = yuan bao), or do you have to breed a ranchu with a ryukin to get a yuan bao every time? [link] [comments]
