Help!!! Scared to leave my baby!

In about a week, I am leaving on an 8 day vacation. I've been preparing for this for a while, and I'm confident in my tank setup. The only thing I can't stop worrying about is him going 8 days without food... he's already chubby, but I'm worried he will get stressed and hurt himself. There will be ghost shrimp in the tank, and I'm going to feed him a lot right before I leave, but I'm still worried. The temperature also may get a bit warm (66), which makes digestion faster. Any ideas or words of reassurance would be very appreciated!

Testing strips for water hardness

Hello! I recently got the Tetra 6 in 1 water testing steps for my tank, and from what I've researched, I'm a beginner axolotl keeper, I've gathered that the KH needs to be 3 to 8, and the GH used to be 7 to 12.

However on the testing strips for water hardness, there is no separate KH and GH option. Also, all of the numbers are in the hundreds...

Is there some sort of equation I need to know about? Any commentary is welcome! Have a great day!
