Help plz Posted: 24 Jul 2020 04:19 PM PDT I think my axolotls are under fed they keep nipping at each other and look unhealthy and I identified that they are underfed ones a year and a half and the other is about half a year old and I have been feeding them earth worms every other day but in our worm garden The worms keep dying and I'm concerned about my axolotls . Tank cycling for like 4 months... Posted: 24 Jul 2020 02:49 PM PDT Hi, I've been cycling s heavily planted tank for about 4 months now and it still can't eat 2 ppm of ammonia in 24 hours, what am I doing wrong I've added Dr. Tim's one and only live nitrifying bacteria, Dr. Tim's ammonium chloride and kept the levels consistent, it's cycled through nitrites and has a reading of nitrates and still isn't cycled what the heck??? As the title says, i want your experiences and advices finding the right balance between light, plants and axolotls. I'm gonna set up a 200 liters tank (sorry for the conversion, i read all of you and you use gallons), and i want to plant anything i can. The aquarium size is 100cm x 50cm x 40 cm. I got an atman HF 0800 (hang on back filter, btw I'll add extra mechanical media and bio media) for the substrate i want to use sand.
