- Hello! I’m looking for suggestions as to how I can cover my tank . I just got two kittens and though they haven’t showed interest yet, I don’t want any accidents. As you can see, I have an over the side type filter so normal lids don’t fit my tank. Any ideas?

Posted: 11 Jul 2020 06:57 AM PDT Hi guys! I have had my axies for a year now and decided it is time to upgrade their tank. I currently have two adults in a 40 breeder. I found a 75 gallon (18"Lx48"Wx21"H) and was first off wondering if that would be a good amount of floor space for them. Since I'm also going through the effort of setting up a new tank, I was wondering if I should do a sand bottom. My current bottom is naked but the boys don't seem to mind not having traction. I've always loved the look of sand but I've never had it. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

Are Alabama crazy worms axolotl friendly ? Posted: 11 Jul 2020 08:17 AM PDT I'm upstate visiting relatives and there's these invasive worms called Alabama crazy worms . When it rains they crawl out on the roads by the handfuls . Hardly anyone uses fertiliser or pesticides here . Are these safe to take home and feed to my axies? [link] [comments]

At what age is an upgraded needed? Posted: 10 Jul 2020 11:21 PM PDT I got a 20-25 gallon standard (i got a good price on it with a stand lol) and i understand they would do better in a 20 long rather than tall and i would be happy to provide that for them. But is there an age/size i can keep one inside of in the meantime? (I do not own one and am still doing research just curious) [link] [comments]
