Posted: 14 Jul 2020 04:01 PM PDT I've had a mystery snail since quarantine and I recently noticed that he can't close his shell all the way, I think it might be a swollen foot. And I don't understand what happened. I had introduced half of a wondershell and another mystery snail and he loved it and climb over both of them. Then suddenly he became lethargic and stop moving as much, this happen mysteriously right when the wondershell completely dissolved. The new mystery snail is fine and moving around. His tankmates are live plants, 4 julli cory's, the new mystery, and 8 little swordtails ( they are growing from being a fry). I regularly add API Calcium and TOP FISH water conditioner when I change the waters. I'm new to this hobby but my tank is cycled. The parameters of the water are: Amonia:0 Nitrates:0 Nitrites:0 PH 7.2 GH: 12 KH:1 [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Jul 2020 12:27 PM PDT Hi. Do I need to place it where the snails can access it to eat it, or do I place it where it can just dissolve? Or does it matter. [link] [comments]

Posted: 14 Jul 2020 07:34 AM PDT I'm new to having a tank, its actually for a turtle, but we purchased 1 snail to keep it clean. A week later we added a 2nd snail while still seeing the 1st. The next day the first was gone, shell and all. A few days later, we got a 3rd, and the same thing happened again! We could see the 2nd, added the 3rd, the next day the 2nd was gone. Please help me Oh and the turtle is still a hatchling so he can't be the reason. And we have checked in and under all the decor. Can they dig down into the rocks? [link] [comments]
can snails grow back their antennas back? Posted: 14 Jul 2020 11:15 AM PDT i have ~2 year old mystery snail that was living alone for a few months after my betta passed away. few days ago i got a new betta and i thought because it is a female and she was already living with 2 other bettas there wouldn't be aggression but i was wrong. few hours ago i noticed that the long antennas my mystery snail had were eaten off more than a half of their length. i of course put my snail in a different tank and now he's eating some watermelon. is he going to be okay? will they grow back?
