Posted: 25 Jul 2020 01:34 AM PDT So a while while back I bought a tarantula and I got this horrible tarantula kit. I thought it would be fine for it but of course it wasn't. I kept that tank since, but I stepped on the lid one day and it broke. Recently I've been really into snails. I'm planning on getting two milk snails, but I'm buying them a different cage since that one has no top. Could I put some aquatic snails in that tank? They're small, so I assume they could live in it and be happy it's small enough I could do water changes too. I could post pictures of it because I'm not actually sure how big it is. Would they escape because of the top? Would they want to escape? I imagine they wouldn't want to leave the water. [link] [comments]
Starting first Neocaradina 10g tank (snail options) Posted: 24 Jul 2020 11:35 PM PDT I'm sort of stuck between mystery snails and ramshorn snails, how many can I have? any suggestions help. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 24 Jul 2020 10:53 PM PDT I have two lovely little mystery snails that have survived me treating a tank for ich, they're doing great. Cuttle Bone in the water to help them and planning to feed them some peas tomorrow. Unexpectedly we picked up a small Yoyo Loach from our local fish store, he's been pecking at them but cannot get past they're defenses. Is it a lost cause to think they can get along in a 55 Gallon tank? Theres plenty of cleaning to go around but I feel like I'm going to have to make a choice. [link] [comments]

So I’ve recently had a bunch of baby mystery snails but I’m concerned Posted: 24 Jul 2020 03:38 PM PDT I have them in a 20 gallon with a good filter and it's got a swordtail and anubias nana but the thing is I'm not sure if I can keep them all or what to do ,all my other tanks are a 10 gallon with 2 bettas (yes they do get along) and a single ivory snail and a goldfish tank which is still relatively small so any ideas? I've tried selling but so far no luck with any buyers. [link] [comments]
Is there something wrong with my snails? Posted: 24 Jul 2020 06:19 AM PDT I have two rabbit snails both about a year old that I have raised since birth. They are in a 5 gallon planted tank with a Betta. I do weekly/biweekly water changes. They have always been relatively active: They would climb on plants, wood, up the sides of the tank all around. But for the last few months they pretty much just sit around in the same place. The only time they move is right after a water change and then they find a place and will just sit there for days. Is this something you worry about? I know sometimes snails just like to chill but this seems weird to me that they are both acting the same way... And help is appreciated! [link] [comments] |
