Little bumps on skin?

Little bumps on skin?

I'm a first-time axolotl owner, and my little dude has these bumps on his skin that I'm really worried about. I typically inspect his skin and gills every day to keep an eye on his health, and this morning I noticed a bunch of skin-colored bumps, mostly on his head. There's a few on his body, but not nearly as dense. He also is flicking his gills more often than usual, but besides this his behavior is not too different. I see no signs of fungus in his gills and nothing sloughing off of him. He is still willing to eat, so that's good at least. ~15-20% water changes are done about weekly using cycled and treated water that I refrigerate before adding. If anyone has info on what the cause is and how to treat please let me know!!

Thanks for all the help with the infected gills everyone! Couple tubs did the trick. Piece of his gills missing where the infection came off but the little monster never got stressed or stopped eating the whole time. So I’d say it went about as smoothly as an infection could.

Can anyone confirm that my boy is actually a male? Just introduced his new brother & he is laying sperm cones everywhere, just wanted to make sure it’s only excitement I’m witnessing :-) paranoid person over here.

Anyone know what these white things are? Are they dangerous? How do I get rid of them? They are moving a bit if that helps.

Hello :) I was wondering if I put a picture of my full tank on if anyone would help me re organise it? So moving around decorations, moving the sand around to make a hill?

My axolotol has had these odd spots on his head for around a year now. I’ve tried treating them with salt baths, as well as Pimafix. Nothing seems to make them go away. Are they just natural or is there something I can do to help him out? Should I give the salt baths another try maybe?
