| Posted: 25 Jun 2020 07:30 PM PDT Besides keeping it moist, is there anything else I need to do? Just let them hatch and it should be fine? I only have snails in the tank. Mysteries, ramshorns, couple rabbits and a nerite [link] [comments] | ||
| What are your favorite snail care items? Posted: 25 Jun 2020 03:04 PM PDT After seeing another post here, I was inspired to try making Snello (link below) and wondered what other things people like to do for their snails? I started my snail keeping journey this year. I have four aquariums with a several varieties of nerites, a chocolate rabbit snail, a couple ivory mystery snails (I hope they breed), and then a tank on its own (meaning no "decorative" snails) with a clea helena (I know, not really that kind of snail). My water tends to be on the lower mineral side which is weird since the website that evaluates that says otherwise, so I have been trying to make sure I supplement their minerals. I blanche veggies for them and we have the algae variety of Repashy, and I have dropped an antacid calcium tab into tanks here and there, but since I only just discovered snello I wondered what other tips and tricks I might be missing out on? Are there any snail care items you love? Any tips to make sure your shelly friends are happy and healthy?
