My captive bred clownfish figured out that the isopods and mysis shrimp which have had run off the tank are edible for the first time last week, now they spend all day searching the rocks

Tank moving

Posted: 02 May 2020 04:32 PM PDT

I want to move my 20 gal high to a 20 gal long. My question is when I do this do I move the sand as well, should I get new sand, or mix the new and old batch of sand?

Changing salt brands

Posted: 02 May 2020 02:40 PM PDT

I'm new to reef tanks and I currently use Instant Ocean Sea Salt and I want to switch over to Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Reef Salt since I have some corals now. Is there anything special I have to do or can I just do a 20% water change and put the new salt in that? Thank you!!
