| Crayfish died of unknown reasons Posted: 22 May 2020 08:42 AM PDT Hello! I'm very new to having crayfish as pets, and my mum just started breeding dwarf crayfish for my uncle's pet store because he asked her to, and yesterday we found one of her crayfish half dead and looking very strange. We took pictures of her and rushed to the pet store, and he said she's starting to grow mould. He's relatively new to selling crawfish so he sounded like he wasn't sure what to do about it. When we got home she wasn't fighting at all anymore so we removed her and she was dead. Is there some way to make sure it doesn't happen to the other crayfish? I'm pretty sure she was carrying eggs and maybe they even hatched, as we didn't see her for a few days after seeing the eggs, but I can't be 100% sure on that. If that's the case, would that have anything to do with it? [link] [comments] |
