- Anybody know the species and gender ?
- Beginner Tank?
- How should I clean this up? I left him some plants, but he ripped them up more than I expected
- If I catch crayfish in the wild and put a male and a female together in a small tank will they immediately mate/ how will I know if they do? It seems like they don’t want anything to do with each other.
- Should I add snails to my crayfish tank?

| Posted: 06 May 2020 11:17 PM PDT Hello everyone! I've gotten interesting in CPOs and wanted to get a few for a twenty gallon tank, but I'm not experienced in fish/tank keeping. I was curious if it would be best to keep them isolated or if a community set-up would benefit them, and if a community does, what species do you recommend as tank mates? I've looked at a few options, I'm just really nervous as this is my first tank. Thank you! [link] [comments] | ||

| Should I add snails to my crayfish tank? Posted: 06 May 2020 05:32 AM PDT I want to add assassin snails as a cleanup crew, because my cray is now too big to enter small cracks between rocks. I don't mind a couple snails eaten but I want it to be sustainable and not a massacre i.e at least a couple should survive if I add half a dozen for at least 6 months? I don't usually mix up different creatures from two different ecosystems but I got a stable Assassin snails population in my other tank. The setup for my crayfish is mostly with white sand with a bit of gravel and large holey rocks(some poking out of the water surface) the crayfish is 7" Australian Red Claw. [link] [comments] |
