QUESTIONS ABOUT GILLS.This is my baby Mushu. I've had him for about 2 weeks. His gills are white most of the time. Maybe turning slightly pink at feeding time. Feeding brine shrimp and bloodworms. Use api master water testing kit. All values fine. Water steady 65 degrees. I'm worried. Any ideas?

Just curious my baby is still way too small to be in with my other axie but when it does come time to introduce them to each other, how do I go about it? Does anyone have any tips or tricks? Has anyone's axies just start fighting right away?

How To Ship Axolotls?

Posted: 04 May 2020 07:48 AM PDT

I'm relocating in a month, and I'm wondering how people usually ship their axolotls? It's too far to drive, so I'm thinking of sending them through the pet options for airline cargo. I have to drop them off 2 hours early, so they'll be on the plane for 6-7 hours.

Would it be okay to ship them in large bags? Would this be enough oxygen for them to survive the trip? I was looking into breather bags but there aren't any large enough that are sold in Canada. Any other shipping tips would be appreciated

What air pumps are you guys using for your sponge filters?

Posted: 04 May 2020 03:12 AM PDT

The air pump I am using for my sponge filters is losing steam. I tried another air pump that I had laying around, and that one isn't working very well either.

Can you guys link me to the air pumps you're using? Preferably something powerful and reliable. Thanks!
