Nerite snail being weird. Anyone have any advice?

I've had this nerite for about half of a year and it's started acting weird. It recently has started tipping itself onto its side with its foot. I will reorient it whenever I notice it on its back or side but then I walk by a few minutes later and it's back on its side.

There are times that it will crawl around the tank, on the substrate and the glass, but will always go back to tipping itself over. When it's on its side its foot isn't tucked all the way in like when I was transporting it home.

I have other nerites that aren't doing this so I'm concerned that the little snail might be sick or dying.

Thanks for any help.

Is it weird my snail has never had babies? I've had him for 4months or so and not a single spawn. I thought snails reproduced asexually?

my snails are perfectly fine and alive but why evertime they get to the waterline my whole room stinks?
