- Pet smart memorial weekend sale, Top Fin aquariums 50% off! They have a 55 gallon setup for only $100. Wish I had the space ☹

- A random snail caught hitchhiking on one of my plants can anyone identify it for me ?? (Soz for the distant picture my phone wouldn’t focus)
- Shell already came like that, but is the coloration of the shell towards the back normal for this nerite? Someone said it could be calcium deficiency so I added crushed and grinded up egg shells to the tank 2 days ago. Could this be the case or is it just the shell growing?
- What’s that tentacle thing on the right near the shell?

| Posted: 22 May 2020 08:03 PM PDT hi, i'm still relatively new to owning mystery snails. i just replaced about a third of my tanks water and put a new filter cartridge. i tested the new water's ph and temperature before adding it. now one of my snails is halfway out of the water, which he's never done when i've changed the water previously. i just checked my entire tanks ph and temp and it's all normal. is everything okay?? should i be worried??
