Pond snail question

Posted: 31 May 2020 02:51 AM PDT

Hey, I was thinking about keeping a pond snail as a pet, because there are many in the pond near me. But, what do I feed it, also are there any other tips for the snail.

Making Sure My Snail Eats Well

Posted: 30 May 2020 11:44 AM PDT

Hello, everyone. First time snail owner and first time poster.

Just added a gold mystery snail to my tank. Ten gallons, lightly planted, gravel, heater and sponge filter. He's the only tank occupant right now, looking to add a betta friend when the quarantine lifts.

Did some research, and put a bit of blanched spinach and kale in for him. Mr. Rosewater (that's my snail) seems to have enjoyed it.

My question is: how often should I supplement his diet (which right now is just what's available in the tank naturally) with leafy greens like this?

Is there such a thing as too much?

Thanks.
