N. Indiana. I have a bunch of algae attached to rocks I want to clean off but I'm worried I'll destroy eggs or egg habitat since my females have produced or are going to very soon? Posted: 27 May 2020 07:56 AM PDT My water temperature is 70 degrees right now. The pond is probably 800 gallons and shallow. Normally I would scrub the algae off the rocks but my females have looked really fat like they're going to lay eggs if they haven't already for the past month.
