Help? CRS not molting. Not breeding.

Posted: 07 Apr 2020 01:31 AM PDT

I've been keeping CRS since 2010 and this is my first time encountering these issues.

Over the past 6 months the issue seems to be getting worse and worse.

I've always been using RODI water and mixing in Shrimp King Bee Salt GH+. Tank is chilled down to 72*F

Initially, my shrimp would get it on like rabbits, but over the past 6 months they've slowed to the point where I never see any berried females and they've stopped molting all together. I've kept up with water changes and cleaning every week. After water changes I see them do their dance, but nothing comes of it.

Where have I gone wrong? Thanks in advance.

The striped bumblebee shrimp (Gnathophyllum americanum) is common throughout tropical lagoons, bays, and reefs. Also called the striped harlequin shrimp, this shrimp is similar in coloration pattern to a bumblebee, but with blue and yellow highlights on its claws. It can grow up to 1 inch/2.5 cm.

Why are there so many copepods all of a sudden?

Posted: 06 Apr 2020 07:10 PM PDT

At first I thought they're shrimp larvae, because you know, they look similar. But then I realised "nope, they're copepods"
