Should I just give up? Shrimp keep dying.

I received 10 red cherry shrimp from an online vendor (The Shrimp Farm) on Thursday. I drip acclimated them for 3 hours with 1 drip per second, then I put them in the tank. From the start, they were all lively and inked started scavenging and swimming about.

24 hours later, I came home from work to find 3 dead. 2 berried females and a juvenile. I removed their bodies, and tested the water, the parameters (included at the end of this post) were the same as when I put them in. That night, I gave them half an algae wafer. They all ate enthusiastically.

Today, I came home to find 2 more dead. One was another juvenile, and the other was an adult. I actually couldn't even find the body despite moving almost everything around. I just know I only counted 5. The rest again, seem fine.

Parameters: Ammonia-0 Nitrite-0 Nitrate-0 Gh-8 drops Kh-3 drops TDS-308 They're in a 5 gallon that's at 78 degrees (room temperature, no heater)

I am so incredibly heart broken. I have always wanted shrimp and finally got the chance to get them. I was so happy when they arrived and even more excited that I had 2 berried females. But I killed them, or something did and I don't know what.

I'm considering giving the remaining 5 to a local hobbyist who breeds shrimp (I was considering getting more from her to replace the losses, but after losing 2 more, I don't know if that's the right thing to do). I lost half of them.

Do you think I should just give them to someone else, stick it out with the current 5, or restock my colony and try again?

Thanks for reading.
