Goldfish pooping white poop??? Posted: 08 Apr 2020 06:26 PM PDT One of my goldfish consistently poops white, stringy poop. I've read online to hold off of feeding for a few days or that it could be an infection in the fish. Other goldfish in the tank is fine as has normal poop. (sometimes is mildly constipated but goes away in a day or two) The fish is question's cloaca (is that the term?) is looking... strange? Like swollen and uncomfortable. I just noticed it. Never looked like that before. I can see if i can get pictures but they might not be very good edit: is otherwise a healthy fish from my understanding. water parameters are always great, always eating, and always swimming and active. eats spinach fine and often. just has some trouble digesting food i guess. submitted by /u/roxyh811 [link] [comments]

Tankmates for Ryukins. Posted: 08 Apr 2020 11:58 AM PDT My water test kit should be here in a week (hopefully) and I'll start cycling when it arrives. I want to figure out what I'm able to put in the tank so I can start looking at fish I like. I've been drawn to Ryukins so far. Are there any types of goldfish that should definitely not be housed with them? Like Butterfly Tails or Telescope goldfish? black spots? Posted: 08 Apr 2020 09:09 AM PDT I have 4 fish in my tank and one of them a yellow comet/common goldfish has produced black spots on the front of its head and its eyes have turned black, there are also some darker patches around its face.
