Lazuli made his first appearance today
Help! Worlds smallest crayfish.

New pet! Can anyone help ID? We adopted him from an animal shelter on Friday (someone’s pet had too many babies) - they said he was a baby blue crayfish but would love to know exact type.

a friend and I wanted to raise some salamanders so we got some larvae out of a puddle. When we got home, we found in the water what im almost positive is the smallest crayfish in the entire world. He looks almost like a teeny tiny rollie polie but with barely distinguishable antenna and a finned tail. He floats atop the water mostly, and if you touch him, he flicks his tail and dives to the bottom, exactly like a grown crayfish would swim.

So my question is, if im right, how do I care for such a teeny tiny guy?! Talking like a pin head. Id love to raise him til hes grown.
