I have a 4 month old axie and I feed her in the morning and the evening. I am upgrading to earthworms soon, I feed her blood worms (she doesn't finish a whole cube but I feed her two cubes a day).

How can you tell if you aren't feeding them enough?

Keeping a tank cool during summer

Can anyone tell me how you keep your tank cool in the summer? I am getting worried because my temps in the water are getting close to 70 and I live in Ohio and it's not even hot yet. I was hoping for a chiller but I can't find a 1/20 hp one for my 20 gal. Do you guys have any ways for keeping your tank cool in the summer? If you know fans work can you point me in the right direction? Or if you find a $150 to $200 1/20 hp chiller can you tell me please?

Feeding daphnia to adult axolotl

Hey guys!

I was wondering if any of you had any experience feeding some daphnias to your adult lotls? It would me more as a supplement for him to hunt a bit while I'm gone as I would still feed his regular diet.

My fear is that he wouldn't eat them at all? Then I'd have a tank full of daphnias to clean up... Has that ever happened to any of you? He's eaten all the expensive shrimps I've tried to have him cohabit with so I guess that's a good thing?
