Overhauling my Axie's Tank- help requested? Posted: 06 Apr 2020 04:24 PM PDT I've had my axie for about 4 years now, but when I went to college it was too hard to take the 20 gal tank back and forth, so my parents have been taking care of him for the last 3 or so. I've tried to make updates to his tank when I could, but I haven't really been around for a while. And this "I can't go outside" thing has made me realize that it's time to overhaul the tank! So, here's what I'm thinking/what I have: 1. I ordered new filters. The Fluval aquaclear HOB filter and then a set of new sponge filters (his tank size went up but I never updated the filter, so we're doing that now) 2. I'm sticking with a bare bottom tank, though eventually I would like to (post-pandemic) get slate tile cut for the bottom 3. I tried Anubias nana before, with not great success. So this time, I'm trying Java Fern and Java Moss, superglued to [more about that latter] 4. I got the good quality water testing kit! Things I'd like to get/need to get: 1. Another hide for him (he has one, and budgeting will decide anything else there) 2. Things to superglue the Java Fern/Java Moss to. My questions are: 1. What would be some good ideas for what I could superglue the plants to? 2. Is there anything else people recommend adding? 3.
