Hand feeding this water puppy ^_^
Walter’s tank was a bit warm so I gave him some ice.
I know he probably can’t see his reflection underwater but I love the pictures it makes for. Anyone else feel like their axolotl looks at and swims with themselves ??
My axolotl appears to have some strange head blobs!? Only spotted recently but could have been there for a while. Is this anything to be worried about?
Snookems got so big! and yes, it’s a girl :)

Help! I’m not sure what’s wrong with my Lucy): the sibbling is much larger w/ bigger gills & healthier. They share the same 30 gallon tank. I put the Lucy in a tub for "quaritining". Could it be a runt? Or is it sick?

her gills are smaller and paler, even when eating or in motion, and her tail is bent. she has been kind of sick lately. what to do?
Help??!
What is this on his/her gills and if its bad how do I take care of it? Its kept in a small tub with daily water changes and is on a diet of blood worms until it gets bigger for a tank.
Is he health?

Questions for someone that wants to get an axolotl

I'm really interested in getting an axolotl after everything opens back up after the quarantine. I already have a 20 gal tank and a filter for it so all I would need is the decor, substrate, food and the axolotl. I just have a few questions. How did you guys set up your tanks? How long did you run your tanks for before getting the axolotl? What decor do you recommend? As far as feeding goes, what do you feed yours? And if you guys have any other advice, that would be awesome. Thank you in advance!

Do i need a light?

Do i need a heater or cooler?

I know sand or bare is preferred, does the type of sand matter?

What type of filter is best?

Australian online axolotl food

So basically my local pet stores have stopped stocking axolotl food because of corona and I don't want to resort to beef heart for too long. I was wondering if anyone knew other foods I could buy for Axolotls online? I've tried a bloodworm economy pack but the stuff falls apart when I put it in her tank.

My friend has an axolotl and he jumped out of his tank. We don't know how long he's been out. But he has discoloration on his tail and is holding his back leg up to his tail.

I was going to add ammo lock into my axolotl tank since his ammonia went up and my hand slipped and I dropped in what must have been at least 3 times the amount he needed. Could this harm him in any way?
