New axolotl owner Posted: 31 Mar 2020 01:44 PM PDT Hi everyone, My friend went up to her holiday house because of coronavirus and left her axolotl behind. I went and got it after it had been a week at home alone, I cleaned its tank and I will probably be keeping it. It is about 5-6 months old and pretty small. Is there any tips anyone can give me for caring for it? I know it needs a better tank, filter, new sand, basically new everything but in the meantime (since everything is closed). How should I feed it, how much, how often etc Also I would love any recommendations for food, tank set up, filter & heating recommendations as well as activities.
