I’m worried about the white spots on the gills of the axolotl I’ve had for a month. I’m watching him for a friend, and I didn’t notice these when I first got him. I’m trying everything to make him comfy!

It feels so awesome to FINALLY be able to tell that my supposed male really is indeed a male, hahah. I'm a simpleton and just named him Axol when I got him. Pronounced like Axel xD

Improvements and tips?

I've had my axies for a week now and they seem to have settled down, they were a bit stressed from the move obviously but they look very happy now. They eat, swim around and play with each other at night time (I'm not sure if this is good or bad). My axolotl before these unfortunately didn't survive most likely because we didn't have the right filter at the time and he was a small juvie, these 2 are now half a year old and they absolutely love each other. If there's any tips and tricks for me to know about these animals I'd love the feedback :). Does anyone also know how to attach an image to this post, thanks in advance^{^}
