Snail hasnt come out in over a week

I've had my mystery snail or a month or so now, and I have 2 more, who are both active everyday. But the one has been tightly sealed in his shell for so long now. Sometimes he has bloated around, but now hes been hanging out on the bottom. I've tried putting food right by him, but I cant get him to come out and I'm worried. I do not believe hes dead because he doesnt smell dead, and I have read that if they are very tightly enclosed in their shell that they are not dead. Miss seeing my little guy cruise around the tank. Any suggestions?
