I had 5 berried shrimp in my tank, today I found my first hatchling! Anyone know how to control seed shrimp? When I found berried shrimp I took out the nano fish that were controlling them, for fear they would eat my shrimplings.

How often should I check water quality?

Posted: 11 Feb 2020 02:32 AM PST

Have a 7.5 g tank with just 3 shrimp (or the others are hiding) and some plants. Oh and one bladder snail. I checked yesterday and the ammonia was high, I don't understand how since I had just done a water change and have a minuscule population. I treated the water with some conditioner and the levels when down. Should I check daily?
