Ye boi is ready for another tank

So I’m super new to shrimps and freshwater tanks - it’s been about a month or so. I put in 5 shrimp to start with. Today, I found a THIRD berried shrimp and I’m ecstatic. (Pictured is one of the older thicc mamas since the new one hid) but yeah, I can’t wait for babies

What kind of shrimp is this orange guy? His insides sort of glow orange through his wild type pattern.

My first shrimplets! While moving my Orange Rilis to a new tank I found 8 little guys, which is exciting after finding an abandoned clump of eggs earlier this week.

Does anyone know what this white band is on my shrimp? Never had it before.

My Vampire Shrimp.

Just added my shrimps 30 mins ago. Does their swimming look okay? I was told by my lfs that they barely swam around.

Do you guys see any females? My eye is not that good yet. Got them for free at my LFS

Went out of town for the weekend and two apple snails killed themselves on the filter intake

Posted: 02 Feb 2020 07:59 PM PST

They somehow moved my intake cover and got themselves stuck. They died and spiked the ammonia. Since then I've lost two amanos, mama rili dropped her eggs, and my only blue is showing signs of muscular necrosis. I'm so sad, things were finally going well for my tank.

Any easy way of getting rid of them? I saw them for the first time today, so I just pulled them out with my hands. Any easier/better way of getting rid of them? I don't want them to kill my baby shrimp. 😭😭😭😭😭

Thanks in advanced!
