Invasive fish species in Western Australia. Whilst at the Canning River I saw a few signs. Please stop dumping non-native species into our rivers and lakes. They have outcompeted our native aquatic fauna, particularly the Pearl Cichlids and goldfish due to their territorial nature.

Question: I want to add an aerator, but I'm afraid the force of the bubbles would damage my plants. Is that a thing or am I being silly?
