beans and rice are 2 months today
New tank new resident one day only. So far has eaten six small pellets and nearly bit the end off the tweezers when I offered tiny piece of beef. It was like a scene from Jaws!

I keep posting about this please help. My axolotl’s tail is shrinking. First he had a white spot I thought was fungus. We treated it. It never went away but never spread. Now his tail is getting shorter and it’s almost like it’s dissolving. I’ve never seen this before somebody pls help I’m worried

Exo terra moss mat

Hey! Does anyone have experience with Exo terra moss mat? I tried so many substrates for my axolotl's tank and stuck to the bare bottom. I like the maintenance of it, it's really practical, but it seems like my lotls hate it. I really love the natural look - wood, plants and really big rocks, so I got an idea to make a moss carpet. I am not good at growing plants so I thought of buying a fake moss carpet. I found Exo terra moss mat, but I am not too sure about putting it into my aquarium. Do you know any other brands which would be more suitable?

Stunted axolotl growth?

Hey guys, I'm coming here because I really need some advice about my axolotl. I got him several months ago (like 6+) from my LFS, and in the time that he's been with me, he doesn't seem to have grown at all. He has a 20L tank that I cycled for about 2 months prior to getting him, and all the water levels look good when I test them. I usually do a 25% water change once a week and I've been feeding him frozen bloodworms (as I think he's still too small for earthworms). Is there anything I'm not considering that could be keeping him from growing? Or is he just going to stay the same size for good? I'm worried that I'm doing something that's harmful to him, but I'm not sure what it could be.
