My HOB filter gave out yesterday. I've tried everything to fix it, no luck. So I trashed it. And now I have to replace it. Any recommendations on filters and why you recommend that specific one would be helpful in my next purchase.

Help! My axolotl hasn’t eaten in weeks

About 4 weeks ago my axolotl went to aggressively eat a worm and clipped himself on the tongs, making his gill bleed for a few minutes. He has since refused to eat any worms I try to feed him. Whenever I put the worm to his face, he turns his head and swims the other way. He is getting skinny and I'm getting really nervous that he's about to kill himself. He's been in a tub for a few weeks getting 100% water changes every day with cold water. I tried blanching the European night crawlers before giving it to him in case the scent they excrete when dying was grossing him out. I thought him not eating would go on for a week or two and then he'd get hungry and eat but idk anymore. Any help would be appreciated, I've done a bunch of research but nothing has helped
