How long does it take a mystery snail to actually lay?

My female laid a clutch but it's extremely small, maybe 5 eggs total. Is this because they add eggs to them every night over the course of a few days, or is that all the eggs that's shes going to lay? I googled but had trouble finding an answer. Thank you very much.
