Got a free snail from Petsmart
My new black mystery snail! And a little shot of my new female guppy :)
My snails have been climbing all over each other for a bit now, is this breeding? Or normal behavior, they have been doing this for about half an hour now

Roommate wanted a nerite for her goldfish tank. So we went to Petsmart, when I asked where is the sticker for the ramshorn snails the associate answered:
"We get them with the fish and they just...multiply. We don't really sell them."

I asked if I could get one of them anyway, and he just said, "I'll put it in with the nerite, no charge."

I can't complain. There was a blue-ish one that I wanted, but it wasn't cruising so I opted for one that had a slight pink hue. It found the eggshells right away, might need to grind them finer though.

Ramshorn is in its own fishless tank.

Mystery Snail Color Question

I have a magenta striped mystery snail and a golden mystery snail. What colors are possible in this breeding? The charts I have found online are a bit confusing. I don't know for sure if I have one of each gender, but as best as my untrained eye can see, I have a pair.
