Posted: 16 Feb 2020 06:09 PM PST Can someone help me identify what these worms are coming out of my snail? They appear to be living on the outside of the shell in the inner spiral. [link] [comments]
How to hatch a clutch someone will be giving me? Posted: 16 Feb 2020 01:57 PM PST Water requirements? Temp requirements? Tank size requirements? Never hatched a clutch before. [link] [comments]

Posted: 16 Feb 2020 10:22 AM PST Nerite has not been well lately. Over the past weeks, it's foot was hanging out of its shell, wrinkled, but it was still moving and alive. When I flipped it over it would maybe move a little around the bottom of the tank, but very little. I tried to entice it with some crushed egg shells and it did respond some. Its not taking to spinach, cucumber, or kale. I've done several 50% water changes every other day, and did a 75% water change about 2 days ago. Now the foot is not hanging out, its operculum is closed, so I can't even check for movement. I given it a sniff test, and it isn't a horrid smell, but it does have a slight fishy/ marine smell? Its a freshwater tank. It is my understanding that a dead one would smell horrid or it would be hanging out of the shell. I'm still new to testing water parameters, but this is what I have from the strips I bought: Nitrite: 0 gH: 75ppm Cl: 0 kH: 40ppm pH: 7.2 [link] [comments] |
