So i finally got the ability to test my GH and KH and found that my TDS is just shy of 400ppm, mh GH is 260ppm and my KH is 100ppm. Is 260ppm too high? I'm keeping an assortment of neocaridina and possibly an amano. Has anybody had success with a thriving shrimp colony under such conditions?

I love my ghost shrimp but I'd love to widen my collection but don't really know where to go. Is there a store that tends to have them or do I have to go online?

Looking For: Large grit white aquarium sand!

Hoping someone has some suggestions. Looking for a good white sand with a larger grain size similar to black diamond blasting sand. Currently keeping our black rose and blue diamond shrimp in tanks with black diamond blasting sand and at times they blend in so well you can't even see them. Any suggestions that won't break the bank are welcome! Thank you.
