Here is the place to post questions about pest ID, coral/fish ID, your cycle, or any other questions that generally wouldn't start up a conversation. If you have an interesting or unique question please create a new thread so everyone can discuss it in length!

These are some great resources for ID's of pests/algae.

18 days ago, I posted about how I wiped out nearly every coral I had in my tank via Hydrogen Peroxide. Lost 5 anemones, 12”x8” zoanthids rock, Torch, Duncan, and hammers. Today I noticed my mushrooms gaining color! Look at the tips. The road back is slow, but soooo rewarding. Thanks r/ReefTank

Well Water

Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:47 PM PST

Hey so I got my well water test results and looked at it. The only things on it were nitrate and 2.94 ppm and arsenic and 0.6 parts per billion. Does that sounds good enough for saltwater with no coral?

Best budget nano reef tank light?

Posted: 03 Jan 2020 07:54 PM PST

I'm searching for a decent light on Amazon for low light intensity corals. I've seen some cheaper than a kessil a80 that have outstanding reviews for growing all sorts of corals. I'm just wondering of any good ones you guys may know of from personal experience? I'm just wanting something more budget friendly that could grow some easier soft corals, nothing too needy or intensive.
