Please help, did I kill my boyfriends planted tank?? !!

Posted: 05 Jan 2020 12:45 AM PST

I know nothing about this world so I'm sorry if I don't know the lingo. My boyfriend has a planted tank with no water in it yet. I think this is called dry start method? He's been working hard on it every single day for months keeping the humidity at the right level, etc. Well today he asked me to spritz the tank with water while he was away. I spritzed it and then FORGOT to put the plastic wrap back over the tank. I got home 8 hours later to find the humidity at 53% and most of the larger plants completely wilted to the ground. What the heck should I do??? I covered them now, gave extra spritzes. Will these plants come back?!?!!? Not sure what they're called, but they are reddish/ purple in color and were getting so tall before I apparently killed them. Help :(

Co2 questions

Posted: 04 Jan 2020 05:20 PM PST

Hey guys. I'm tired of fighting it I want a Co2 set up and I'm curious what the best options are. I have a 55 gallon but would love to upgrade in the near future to 100 and would like to be able to put it on a timer. Does anyone have any suggestions or help with a direction? It would be ridiculously appreciated. I'm a little overwhelmed by research lol. Thanks in advance! 😊
