Jarrarium with some shrimps

What should I do with the jar? It’s about 6 in across so I know I can’t put much in there, maybe a couple of shrimp?

Moss from outside in a Jar

Posted: 18 Jan 2020 04:40 AM PST

I know there are many instructions how to do it but the one i am currently reading argues that

"If you're using moss that you snagged from nature, make sure to first give it a blast of pesticide to debug it."

That seems quite extensive. What other options there are or what I should consider?

Note: this is about terrariums rather than aquariums

Can a Jarrarium be made in -17 degrees Celsius weather?

Posted: 17 Jan 2020 03:56 PM PST

I've recently learned about Jarrariums and I wanna make one out of the river in my back yard, but it's currently -17 degrees C and there was a blizzard three days ago. Can I still make one or should I wait for warmer weather? Sorry if this is a silly question
