Angels gone wild, 2 of my 3 pairs are breeding but only the pair on the far left actually hatches any. Tank just received major re-scape and trim so not looking the best. Enjoy

Sometimes I just shine my phone light into the tank when lights are out and watch all the night time activity.

How often do you rescape your tanks?

Posted: 30 Nov 2019 05:57 PM PST

For those who have been in this a while, how often do you rescape your set-ups?

What do you do with the plants, re-use, different tanks? Do you wait any certain time, until overgrowth, tired of the scenery, what sparks the change? Do you use the same fish or get new for the new designs?

Very curious to hear what others in the hobby do.

Thanks in advance!

Dry start vs Flooded?

Posted: 01 Dec 2019 02:19 AM PST

I'm new to this and I'm not sure how to start? I bought a new 5.5 gallon fish tank and I wanted to add some beginner plants but not sure where to start and how? I don't plan on adding co2 since I'm not quiet sure how to use that so for the moment I don't plan on to. I plan to keep a Betta fish in the tank, not sure which plants should I get as a beginner so recommendations on that would be helpful too.

What are the pros and cons of them aswell?

Where to buy bulk plants for carpet?

Posted: 30 Nov 2019 08:34 PM PST

Hi reddit, i recently purchased a new 55 gal aquarium and I want to plant a carpet of maybe dwarf grass or similar. Where would I buy them to get the best deal? All I've seen is for small quantities which would be costly to buy enough.
