Shrimp dying and hiding at surface

I've had my jar set up for about 4 months, before that everything was in a seperate jar that had a catastrophe, I saved what I could and restarted and everything was going well. Until last night, I did a water change and I swapped out my heater for a slightly larger one, then I replanted my plants, tied my anubias to my drift wood with fishing line put the drift wood back, topped off the water and added a pinch of cuttle bone and a pinch of aquarium salt. I lost one of my berried shrimp, and I put 2 pea puffers in there temporarily and lost both of them, although they did not look the healthiest to begin with the shrimp were doing fine until last night. Any thoughts on what happened?

Can someone please explain to me what is a jarrarium?

Thinking of making my first jarrarium out of this setup. Currently stocked with ghost shrimp from the local lake. What do y’all think?
