- I hope u like this meme I made... this is how my Mr. Gooby reacts every time I feed him
- Might I offer you a nice cold cup of boy?
- Made a NEW! Setup for my axos, I think I did pretty good
- Can axies get anchor worms from eating bloodworms?
- My little guy Axel
- My Bowie loves her rocks
- He’s still a baby but first day in his new tank (I know it’s bare right now) but he seems happy!
- Gregg isn’t eating. I give him nightcrawlers and he’s being really lethargic grabbing them and then after an hour he’ll just spit them out. I thought maybe they were too big so I’ve been cutting them in half, but that isn’t helping either. He’s always had a hard time eating, but he always finished.
- Is already possible to gender malakas? Thanks
- Good night darling. Tell Snowy I love her.
- Feeding help
- Two out of my four Axolotl just chillin’ ❤️
- Worried
- Help please
- Does anyone have any ideas what going on with Sherman's gill, the rest are completely fine. I was just changing some of his water and noticed it, he seems completely normal. I'll check parameters before I add any new water
- Minimum tank requirements for an adult axolotl?

Can axies get anchor worms from eating bloodworms? Posted: 26 Nov 2019 05:23 AM PST To start, I have no reason whatsoever to believe my axolotl has anchor worms — I just had a nightmare about it (ha). But can they get anchor worms from eating blood worms that you'd buy at a pet store? Or how do they get them? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Nov 2019 03:01 AM PST I have two young axies in a divided 3ft (52 gallon) tank, and they eat their live worms just fine, but I would like to encourage them to eat frozen foods & pellets a little more often. The only live food I can source currently is black worms, but 1. my local store doesnt always have blackworms and 2. I want to add more variety to their diet. I've been struggling to encourage them to eat other things, and they've been dropping a lot more weight than I anticipated. Any tips & tricks on encouraging them to eat would be greatly appreciated! Posted: 26 Nov 2019 02:23 AM PST I have an albino and wild axolotls - they were rescued from someone with several who was trying to get rid of them. Both juvenile. The Wild is active but the albino isn't and I've noticed him get more lethargic with time. He hasn't moved in over 12 hours and I tried to poke him and he didn't move. It's only been a few weeks but I'm getting really worried. I know they can play chicken and there have been times where he hasn't moved for hours and then suddenly he's across the tank (they share a 20 gallon). Right now he's wedged himself between the back wall of the tank and a cave he usually lays in and he doesn't look like he's in a comfortable position at all. Water is fine, temp is fine, neither one seems to go for their food though when fed (brine shrimp - was told it was the only thing they were eating previously by owners and they didn't respond to anything else). Pucker seems fine, he's super responsive and swims around constantly but Drogan refuses to move and I'm starting to panic. [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Nov 2019 09:59 PM PST I have 2 axolotls. I got them both 6 weeks ago from the same breeder at the same time. One was slightly bigger than the other, but not by much. The bigger one is thriving, it's gills are so bushy and he's gotten HUGE! He spends his time roaming around the bottom of the tank. The other one, the smaller one.. it hasn't grown at all. It barely moves and floats near the surface of the tank. I make sure it eats but I don't know what else to do? My tank parameters are good. I have some red cherry shrimp in there too and they're all doing fine. But my poor little axolotl just isn't growing or thriving at all. What can I do to help it along? I've got earthworms, brine shrimp, blood worms, pellets. I have put it in a seperate tub which I will do 100% water changes in daily. What else can I do? [link] [comments]
