2 Bubble Tips, not sure why they're so different... Any Thoughts?

Hi all. I need some assistance please. I’m new to the Saltwater setup so need some advise please. My little saltwater tank has just finished the cycle but I see the PH level is low 7.2. How do I raise it please? I now have a few corals (all beginner ones) a clown, one shrimp and 2 crabs. Thanks.

My ugly little “reef” tank is almost one year old.

Anybody have an idea of what this is and if it’s bad? It’s been on my zoa for a few months and has grown a good amount. My zoa seems fine with it. It’s hard a shelled tube that doesn’t move except for the end of it. I’ve noticed a new small one on the zoa as well.

Midas Blenny Help

Posted: 22 Oct 2019 12:49 AM PDT

Don't know what else to do.

About two weeks ago I purchased a Midas blenny to be my first fish after my tank properly cycled. Shortly after noticing the fish hanging around the surface frequently I felt like he was going to jump, ordered a lid for my Red Sea, unfortunately the fish jumped that night.

After being really bummed out and feeling unlucky that my fish jumped within 48 hours while the lid was shipping, I get a fire fish and clean up crew in the meantime.

Lid comes in, I go to pick up the Midas, I really like this fish. Acclimates fine, eats just like the last one, acting like a blenny. 48 hours in and he's acting strange like the last one. Obviously there must be a factor in my tank causing this. Since then its jumped into the half inch gap between the lid and overflow and ive fished em out but it cant stay away from the surface.

Any suggestions?

First build. 90L. My inspiration for this scape was a deep depression I have just recovered from. This is titled 'Rock Bottom'.

Nano nems?

Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:59 PM PDT

Please forgive my pregnancy brain for asking this question. My logic function is broken.

Can I put rock flowers and sexy shrimp in the same nano?

I will eventually get a nano going (an AIO between 5 and 15 gallons). I just haven't yet because I'm moving soon so planning the project was put on hold. It was going to be set up for sexy shrimp and zoas. However, once it was established I wanted to add some rock flowers.

(I currently have flower nems in my 80g mixed reef. They won't be new to me.)

Anyone know why this guy passed? Sad day here. :(. I've since scooped him out. Noticed he wasn't eating yesterday. But other than that didn't notice anything.

How do you all control algae on the glass of your tank?

Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:03 PM PDT

My tanks been up and running for about 5-6 months now. My tank is a 13.5 gallon. It's stocked with a clown, a damsel and corals. I have a few snails as well. My lighting schedule is from 4-10 white light, and from 10-12 blue light. No matter how many times I scrape off the algae, it always comes back. I want my tank to be flawless in this aspect. Is there anything I can do to always keep the glass clear, or does this come with the territory? What I have forming on the glass is like a brown algae that I constantly have to scrape off every few days.

Fish/livestock for 20 g frag tank?

Posted: 21 Oct 2019 06:41 PM PDT

I have a nuvo 20 fusion running as a barebottom frag tank. Only 1 big rock in the middle, and magnetic racks on the sides. Just wondering what would be the best option so I can feed the tank a little, besides aminos. Tank is established but kept clean so not much hope for wrasse or something that would feed on pods-though I made a cutout in the back for a chaeto chamber so possible in the future.. Even if it's just snails- what would you recommend? (No hermits) Shrimp? Thanks fam
