- Side shot of my 150
- The rotala macrandra pearling.
- Thoughts on the initial hardscape in my 125 gallon?
- 6 months of plant growth! Started getting into aquariums with this aquarium in april and I am very happy with how well everything is going! I've had a huge cyanobacteria bloom but managed to get it under control, other than that it all went well.
- My lights arrived today. 20 Gal. Just waiting for the plants to fill in.
- Although it’s scary, algae is not part of my Halloween decor
- Made my first paludarium/terrarium style tank. Plants still growing and no occupants for now.
- Just got my plants settled with my first planted tank. It doesn’t look pretty but as long as they grow I’ll be happy! Wish me luck!
- Any reviews on the ONF flat nano or other recommendations for high tech fluval spec 5
- It's looks better every day. Fts
- Hello all! I just recently set up this Fluval Flex 15g which has been cycling roughly 3 weeks. Ideally, I’d like to move over 1 Betta, 6 neons, and 5 corys from my 20L. Once cycled, will that be pushing overstocked? With the hidden filtration, I know this tank is closer to 11-12 gallons. Thanks!
- Propagating a Pothos in what will eventually become my Daphnia culture tank
- First tank (5G)! Scape suggestions?
- Is this Riccia Fluitans growing in my filter? I’ve never bought that plant before
- Planted aquarium at my LFS. I need it.
- Wabi-kusa/DSM no mold *fingers crossed*!
- What’s wrong with my plant? Grows leaves only in one area and looking unhealthy in the middle. What do I do?
- 5 gallon bags worth of plants gone. 1 year of not trimming amounted to this...
- Slice of nature
- Inherited tank with this light. Suitable for plants?
- Is this narrow leaf java fern?
- Did I just ruin this tank? After in comments
- Light Recommendations for 30 or 40 gallon long?

Light Recommendations for 30 or 40 gallon long? Posted: 22 Oct 2019 02:53 AM PDT I have two old tanks (one 30 gallon and one 40 gallon long). I am thinking of setting one of them back up. The light I have for the thirty is really old (10 + years) and was never that great anyway. I don't even have a light for the 40. I intend to plant the tank with some stem plants, parrots feather and possibly start a carpet. I was wondering what you all think are best kinds/brands of lights. I'm looking for budget friendly (college student) but I'm open to saving up my money if it's really worth it (don't want to waste my money on crap that won't work LOL). [link] [comments] |
