New to the shrimp world, is this shrimpy buried? Is it even a female?

Added a Blue Mystery Snail and within 10 hours all 6 of my ghost shrimp are dead. What happened?

According to fish keeping world they are supposed to be great tank mates. They even keep them together at petsmart.

Was it some kind of shock? The snail is currently just petting their dead bodies with his antennae. It's odd and I'm confused.

Tips for dying cherry shrimps?

Posted: 29 Sep 2019 11:40 PM PDT

So yesterday was the second time I got some shrimps for my nano aquarium. The first time I did, the shrimps all died instantly... Probably due to bad water values. So yesterday we tried again, we made sure we had the perfect water values, the water temperature was perfect, so we bought 20 cherry shrimps. We put them in the water yesterday, everything went fine, but today we woke up and already 4 shrimps died.. we are so confused because we really tried very hard... Does someone have some valuable tips for keeping cherry shrimps? Are they that difficult to keep? Thanks
