• I spend about 30 minutes every night siting in the dark with just the tank lights on right before I go to bed, it helps me stay in tune with the tank and I'm so relaxed I fall straight asleep.

• When you get back home after shopping at the LFS and watching your fish acclimate.
• My Clowns doing some "Housework" in their Haddoni Carpet Nem, making sure it's folds are extended and clean!

• Missing fish help please! So I have 2 clown fish 2 chromies 2 fire fish and a blenny. One clown fish hasn’t been seen for a week and now two days ago was the last time I saw the second. They have been in the tank for a month. Any ideas?
• Algae help? Been battling this for a month now, has improved a lot but still not sure on what it actually is. DARK brown at the bottom and grows outward in long strands.
• Green mushroom macro shot. Take 2 LOL
• Is it necessary to use "Reef fusion two part system maintains calcium and alkalinity levels" in a fowlr
• Cheap Hanging LED suggestions?

Cheap Hanging LED suggestions? Posted: 17 Sep 2019 02:34 PM PDT Looking for suggestions for cheap led lights for my reef! My tank is 48 inches long, and a little over 16 inches deep (it's very shallow). I currently only have metallic rainbow bubble tip anemones but will be getting a wide variety of coral so it has to be suitable for lps and sps! Preferably one that hangs over the tank because it makes it easier to take the anti-escape-eel lid on and off to feed. After my AI broke I recently bought an led light off chewy. Unfortunately it was mislabeled as a reef light and was meant for freshwater plants. It gave my tank a massive algae spike and my btas went from 4in rainbow metallic to shriveled up ghost anems the size of a quarter :( so I really need a light thats going to save them. submitted by /u/OHaley [link] [comments]
