Goldfish - Aquariums - Today I say goodbye to my good girl Peach. I had her for 5 years. She had an amazing personality that I didn’t know a fish could have. She developed a cancerous looking external mass about 3 years ago that didn’t seem to affect her until she took a turn for the worse a couple days ago. RIP Peachy.

Is something wrong with my goldfish? He sometimes just sits on bottom of the tank floating, but then swims fine? I don’t have much experience with goldfish ��
Can you keep a Ryukin goldfish and a Fantail goldfish together or they need to be paired with their own breed for company?
Transferred the fry to the tank to see how big they are. And they are big enough to go to their new home!

So someone gifted me a Ryukin goldfish, I already had a 30 gallon tank so no issues. I though that this goldfish would need some company, so I went to buy another one at the pet store. Later on when I did more research, I realized that the goldfish that I was gifted was a Ryukin and I brought home an assorted Fantail goldfish. It looked similar to my fish at the pet store and I had no picture to compare. Would they keep each other company or do they need a companion of their own type?
