This little one came home with my fiancé yesterday. His gorgeous fins have already perked up and seem to be more golden, and has already angry ranted at us this morning, so I hope that means he likes us!

Replaced most of Cory’s decorations with silk plants and got him 3 moss balls. I bought him frozen bloodworms that I’ll defrost when it’s meal time. Sampled his water at Petsmart and came back with perfect results, I guess he’s just getting used to his tank! Planning on teaching him tricks soon

Is this big enough for a Betta?

Posted: 19 Sep 2019 11:04 AM PDT

I have a 5 gallon, 10x10 inch cube aquarium with a 50 watt heater, a small sponge filter and low flow pump. It's planted with an amazon sword, a java fern and a moss ball, I will add more. My problem is that with the space taken up by substrate and the petrified wood, it's only got about 3.9 gallons for a potential Betta to swim in, will that be enough?

Lost my crowntail of two years named Ernie on Sunday. Really hard to go through this and I hate all the people who say it’s just a fish.

Name suggestions? My husband named him Hector but idk ... what does he look like to you?

Our new fishy no name. I have had him a week. He looked sick in his cup. Sitting on the bottom with his face straight up. It turned out he was just sick of the cup. I got him into his 5 gallon tank and he is so happy. Eats, swims, and begs nonstop. He has so much personality!
