- Ahhhh!!! Here comes a giant!
- What is up with these Assasin snails? I just got some new ones today, and these two have been stuck to the other. It's been about 8 hours like this, the others are acting normal.
- Unique looking mud amnicola (I think) that I found in the Susquehanna river. Any idea why his shell is this color?

Posted: 26 Sep 2019 08:08 PM PDT My sister and I recently got mystery snails (one black one and one blue one). In the almost one day they've been through a bit much. The pet store employee took no care with them and tossed them into a box before bagging them (their shells made a clack sound). Afterwards they had to stay with me for 2+ hours before we could go home. And the ride back was also 2 hours. When we got home, my sister and I tried to acclimate them, but I think we messed up pretty bad with it. We put them in a little bit of the tank water and they immediately started rocking. The blue one worried me more as he rocked in and out of his shell for a bit. I was afraid he'd fall out of his shell but he eventually twitched upright and closed his shell. The black one rocked too but didn't come out of his shell. Both of them have been in their shells since then. I'm pretty sure we shocked them and am afraid they'll die. Because of this we haven't moved them to their tank since we have fish in those tanks. Is there anything we can do to help them? Would it be better for them to be in the actual tank instead of their temporary one? [link] [comments] | ||
